GLOTECH 2027 · Academic track
One academic pass. The whole Summit.
Join hospitality executives, researchers and technology leaders in San Diego, March 1–2, 2027. The academic rate is for faculty, researchers and students at colleges and universities, subject to eligibility review by the GLOTECH organizers.
You can attend without presenting a paper. Registration and payment are managed by AIHA through Luma; research submissions and peer review are managed by GLOTECH.
How it works
- Apply using your name, email, institution and academic role. Please check that your details are current.
- GLOTECH reviews your eligibility for the academic rate. Approval is separate from research-paper acceptance.
- After approval and successful payment, Luma sends your confirmed Summit ticket.
Your pass includes
Two-day access, receptions, tradeshow, labs, and any separately registered activities. Activities requiring separate registration remain subject to that registration and availability.
Attend the GLOTECH research sessions and the full Summit program. Hotel and travel are booked separately.
Presenting research?
Submit your paper through the GLOTECH portal and use the same email as your Summit registration. Paper submission does not reserve a ticket; buying a ticket does not guarantee paper acceptance.
Research guidelines and submissionPresenting authors must meet GLOTECH's February 7 registration deadline to appear in the program.
AIHA shares your academic registration details, institution, role, ticket/payment status and linked submission references with GLOTECH organizers, including Cihan Cobanoglu, to verify eligibility and coordinate the academic track. Newsletter and sponsor-contact permissions remain separate and optional.
Full refund for requests received through January 31, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. No refunds from February 1, 2027. Attendee substitutions are accepted through February 14, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. If AIHA cancels the event, ticket holders receive a full ticket refund. AIHA absorbs payment processing fees.
