FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAN DIEGO, CA — July 12, 2026 — The AI Hospitality Alliance, in partnership with HEDNA, has launched an industry-wide crowdsourced catalogue of hospitality AI use cases designed to make practical AI applications easier for the industry to discover, compare, and build on.

What launched
The AI Hospitality Alliance and HEDNA launched a crowdsourced AI use case knowledge base for hospitality. The resource maps practical AI applications to hotel systems and workflows so operators, vendors, consultants, educators, and industry organizations can see where AI is being tested or adopted.
The new AI Use Case Knowledge Base invites hoteliers, technology providers, consultants, educators, and other industry professionals to contribute real-world or pilot use cases across the hospitality technology ecosystem.
Who can contribute
Contributions are open to hospitality professionals across hotel operations, distribution, revenue management, marketing, guest experience, finance, workforce management, technology, consulting, and education.
Participants can click any system on the interactive map and share what problem AI solves, how it improves that area of hotel operations, the benefits achieved, and, optionally, which tools or platforms were involved. Contributions can be submitted in about 60 seconds.
The initiative is intended to produce a shared, open resource for hospitality professionals looking for practical examples of AI in action across operations, distribution, revenue management, marketing, guest experience, finance, workforce management, and other hotel functions.
Why it matters
AIHA and HEDNA are inviting the broader industry to help build the knowledge base collaboratively. The resulting resource will be published as open source for open and free access, supporting education, responsible adoption, and shared learning across the hospitality ecosystem.
"The hospitality industry does not need more abstract conversations about AI. It needs practical examples of where AI is being tested, adopted, and measured," said Ira Vouk, Founder of the AI Hospitality Alliance. "By crowdsourcing use cases directly from operators, vendors, consultants, and industry professionals, we can create a living resource that helps the industry learn faster together."
The map currently highlights AI opportunities across the full hotel technology and operating environment, giving contributors a simple way to connect use cases to specific systems and workflows.
