About this workshop
Practical AI learning for hospitality
Artificial intelligence. Machine learning. Generative AI. LLMs. Predictive AI. Computer vision. Agents. AGI. Everyone is talking about them — but what do they actually mean?
We start by taking the jargon out of AI and building a simple mental model of the technology landscape: what different types of AI exist, what they are capable of, how we got here, and why AI is evolving so quickly.
Then we bring that knowledge directly into hospitality and explore how AI is already being applied across different parts of the hospitality ecosystem. The objective is not to turn participants into data scientists. It is to give them the foundation they need to understand the technology, evaluate opportunities, and confidently navigate everything that follows.
